Peter graduated from York University in June 2011 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Applied Mathematics, a Certificate in Nonprofit Management, and holds a diploma from the Canadian Operational Research Society. After graduation, Peter worked as an IT consultant in both public and private sectors while building the foundations of Datacrunch Canada. Since then, his clients include public and private schools, local communities, retail and B2B sales, authors, hip-hop artists, and the construction industry. Peter has also lead translation projects due to his proficiency in native English, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese. Prior to Datacrunch Canada, Peter also worked for the federal government, building databases, and research in precarious employment. His technical expertise has been an asset to small and medium businesses looking for growth and technical documentation.
Cathy holds a Bachelor of Education specializing in Primary/Junior students from Lakehead University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from York University, and a Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Toronto. Cathy is also a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and has experience teaching not only in public and private schools, but international schools as well. Her ability as a polyglot has been a valuable asset at international schools, with proficiency in native English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Chiu Chow. Apart from private tutoring and creating personalized lesson plans, Cathy’s classroom management skills has been an asset for providing students with STEM education. Cathy’s experience in private schools has helped her integrate Montessori education with Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years in her lesson plans. Prior to being a teacher, Cathy worked in the retail sector focusing on children apparel and school uniforms.
